At the time of writing, we only have a few weeks left of this year. We hope it has been a good one for you, in both your personal and business life. However, we hope next year is even better for you. And for the business side of your life, you can improve your chances by giving your business a stronger marketing push in the new year.
How? Here are a few ideas we think you will find useful.
1. Send word about your New Year sales
You are having a New Year's sale, aren't you? Everybody else does, so you may as well do the same. It makes perfect business sense, after all, as you are bound to generate more customers this way. Use this newsletter software to jazz up your promotional emails, send word out to your various social media networks, and implement some of these call-to-action phrases on your website to compel your site visitors into making a purchase.
2. Offer something new
The new year is the perfect time to offer something new, be that a new product, service, special offer, or anything else that is going to make your customers sit up and take notice. Send out word about what you are offering through your usual marketing channels, be that through digital or traditional marketing, and hopefully, you will start to see an added interest in your business, from customers both old and new!
3. Tailor your marketing to people's New Year resolutions
This is about rebranding your product or service, giving it a new lease of life to attract more interest. This might not work for every business but try and use your imagination. You might want to create a healthy eating promotion if you are in the catering industry, for example, to accommodate those people looking to improve their diet. If your product or service has the power to make somebody happy, you might want to highlight why, for all of those people looking to find ways to 'be happier' in the new year. And if you are involved with fashion, you might market your clothing line to appeal to those people who want to 'look more attractive,' 'feel more confident,' and any other such resolutions that are common at the start of a new year.
4. Ask for feedback
As another excuse to get in touch with previous customers, you might send out a survey with a 'How Did We Do Last Year?' banner. Let them know that you are looking to be even better in the new year, and that their feedback is essential in helping you tailor your business. This is a good way to let your customers know that a) you still exist, and b) that they are valued, because their opinions matter. Either way, you may see a boost in your profits when they return to your business.
These are just some of the ways you can give your business a marketing push at the start of the new year. We hope you found these ideas useful, but if you have any creative ideas of your own, be sure to let us know. Thanks for reading, and Happy New Year!
